DIY: Hot Chocolate Jars
Being on a budget I find it difficult to buy others nice gifts for birthdays and other celebrations. So, this Christmas I decided to make my own gifts for friends and family which was easy to do and also fun. These little jars were cheap to make, and contain ingredients to make your own different flavoured hot chocolates at home.

All of the ingredients I got are from Poundland and then the jars, plastic bags and decorations I used is from Wilko. To fill the jars I just brought small milk chocolate bars, white chocolate chips, candy canes, marshmallows and edible flowers for decoration. You can easily change the ingredients to suit the person you're making the jars for and customize them.

Next, I put the white chocolate chips and marshmallows into clear plastic bags that I cut out myself, so that the jars looked more homemade. I tied the bags together with ribbon to make it look more colourful and decorative. After this, I began filling up my jars.

To finish off, I put in the rest of my ingredients and added these little edible flowers as they filled in some gaps but also looked pretty and decorative. I also put ribbon around the rim to complete my jars.

Hope that you found this DIY tutorial useful and it could give you some tips to use yourself :)
